National Preschools Consortium – Sri Lankan Preschools Federation
The National Preschools Consortium, operated under the License Pvt Ltd, is the largest and most comprehensive network of preschools in Sri Lanka. As a nationally recognized and NGO-administered body, our mission is to unify, strengthen, and uplift early childhood education across the country.
We are the central authority for preschool administration, curriculum development, educator certification, and quality assurance in the pre-primary education sector. Through collaboration with local communities, government agencies, and international partners, we ensure that every child in Sri Lanka has access to safe, inclusive, and high-quality early education.
Founded with the vision of transforming preschool education into a well-organized and impactful foundation for lifelong learning, the Consortium currently oversees thousands of preschools island-wide. Our efforts are focused on teacher training, curriculum innovation, inclusive learning environments, and consistent quality standards.
What We Do:
Curriculum Design & Development: We design age-appropriate, culturally relevant curricula that foster holistic development.
Preschool Certification: We regulate and certify preschools to maintain national quality benchmarks.
Teacher Training & Development: We empower educators through standardized training programs, workshops, and continuous professional development.
