Infants

Preschools Sri Lanka caters to the earliest stage of early childhood education, which typically includes infants from birth up to the age of 2 years. Each preschool within our network is equipped to provide age-appropriate care and educational activities designed for infants.

Our member preschools feature facilities that are specifically designed for infants, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. These include dedicated infant rooms, safe play areas, and appropriate learning materials that cater to the developmental needs of the youngest learners.

The health and safety of infants are our top priorities. Our preschools follow stringent health and safety guidelines, including regular sanitation, safe sleeping practices, and age-appropriate first aid. All staff are trained in infant CPR and emergency response protocols.

Yes, we provide specialized training for staff working with infants, which covers early childhood development, infant care techniques, and effective communication with pre-verbal children. This ensures that our educators and caregivers are well-prepared to meet the unique needs of infants.

Parental involvement is encouraged in all aspects of our programs. For infants, we promote a partnership approach where parents and caregivers work together to ensure a consistent and responsive care environment, both at the preschool and at home.

Toddlers

Preschools Sri Lanka offers a variety of programs tailored for toddlers, focusing on exploratory play, foundational learning, and social interaction. These programs are designed to stimulate cognitive development, fine and gross motor skills, and early language acquisition in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Our toddler curriculum is structured around key developmental milestones, emphasizing learning through play, sensory experiences, and interaction. It supports the growth of personal, social, emotional, and physical development, laying the groundwork for future academic success and lifelong learning.

Preschools Sri Lanka adheres to strict guidelines on teacher-to-toddler ratios to ensure individual attention and care. The ratios are designed to meet the high standards of supervision and engagement required for the active and curious nature of toddlers.

Yes, outdoor activities are an integral part of the toddler program. Our preschools have safe and well-equipped outdoor play areas where toddlers can engage in physical activities that promote their motor skills and allow them to explore their environment.

We provide a gradual transition process for toddlers moving to the preschool level. This includes familiarization with new routines and environments, as well as introduction to more structured group activities. Our goal is to make the transition as seamless and comfortable as possible for both the toddlers and their parents.
